Anne was walking up and down in the small tent she was getting ready in. She was nervous, but in a good way. She was about to marry the man she had loved since she was a child. They were having a very small service. Anne had invited the people she cared about. She never had many friends. Damien and Parker had been her best friends in school. They had always looked out for and supported her. She did the same for them.

Anne looked down at the simple dress. She didn't want anything over the top. Sure she had money and plenty of it, as did her husband to be. However she would much rather spend it on DJ, and Lily. DJ was being watched by Parker and Pyxis. She was worried about her son. How could she not be, with a mad woman out to get him. But today was about her and Damien, no one else. She was finally going to marry him after all this time. He would be hers, always.

Anne knew that people thought they were moving too fast. She on the other hand thought nothing of the sort. Being held a prisoner had taught her many things. She wasn't going to wait to be happy. She had to live in the moment, because no one ever knew when life could slip through your fingers. Sure, she and Damien hadn't been dating very long, and the time of their engagement even shorter. Anne thought about what she had told a girl in her neighbourhood, after she had been teased for liking other girls. 'Love knows not, name, age race, gender, not time. It only knows what the heart truly wants.' She smiled and went back to pacing.

Tessa had dropped Lily off for Damien and Anne wedding. It was something that she didn't want to be near. But Lily had to be there for her father. She then looked until she found Anne and just left Lily there with her. Tessa was in a hurry to get far away from this place. Tessa made sure that she was going to put some of Damien money to good use. She had bough her a gorgeous golden dress. And then curled her hair like she had always did for Lily.

Lily then looked up at Anne. This was something that she wasn't ready for. But she had no choice, Anne would be her new step mommy. Tessa made sure that before she had brought Lily, she looked her best. It was the least that she could do. It was her little girl after all.

Anne smiled at Tessa and Lily. She knew that Tessa did not what to be here and she really didn't want her here. She looked at Lily and and her dress. It was adorable. She was glad that she was here. She didn't know what to do. Lily should really be with her father right now. She needed Parker to bring her there.

She peeked her head out of the tent. "Some one bring Parker here." She called. Then ducked back in. She was still very nervous.

"Lily you look nice." she said to the little girl.

Lily then blinked a little bit. She wished that her mommy wouldn't have left her there. But she knew that this was a tough day for her. And she didn’t' know what to do. Even day her mommy was still sad, and there was nothing that she could do to make her happier.

“ Thank you my mommy let me pick it out all by myself.”

Pyxis still couldn't believe that she'd been given the absolute pleasure of being the Maid of Honour. She giggled as she thought about it, and it had used up the last few scraps of money she had to buy the dress and to get her hair styled. Right now, she sat in a dressing room at a hair salon. It was muggle, so naturally everything was going to take longer. She didn't mind though, it meant her hair and make-up was done for free as she was friends with the owner. They'd even said they'd help her with the dress, which was lovely of them - all free of charge. She was delighted with this as she watched Julia finish off her hair and put a white bow in it. Pyxis admired the waterfall braid with a soft smile and profusely thanked Julia, before she changed into her dress and allowed them to do her make-up.

"You are so kind, how could I ever re-pay you?" Pyxis asked, but they merely waved their hands and refused to take any money. Pyxis was in the best mood she'd been in a long time. She made her way outside and into a small alley. After she'd scanned her small, drab surroundings for any life, she saw none and twirled on her foot, apparating to the venue. Everything looked amazing, and Pyxis stood awkwardly as she saw merely a little girl and Anne. Not wanting to interrupt their conversation, she shuffled her feet and clasped her hands behind her back, her eyes fixated on the sand as she listened to the rolling waves of the ocean collapsing in on itself.

Parker groaned as he was tying his tie. He really dreaded weddings. The few of his co-workers' weddings that he'd been to were just not fun at all. Sitting for a long time, a stuffy dinner, dancing, drinking. Just....not his thing. After the first few he had started refusing to go. But this was different. It was for Damien and Anne, though admittedly he thought this was WAY rushed. But it's not like anything he said would change their minds. And this was the first time being a best man. What was he supposed to do? He was nervous as all hell. And he'd be standing for a long time. He groaned again. Not fun.

He had arrived a little bit ago with Damien at a place nearby where the ceremony was meant to happen, and had just finished changing. Parker sighed, looking at the rented suit and frowned. There was a knock at the door and he turned around as the door opened and someone told him Anne needed him. Unsure, he said he'd be right there. A few moment later he was making his way out to the beach where the tent was. As he was walking he saw Pyxis apparate in, she looked great. He bet everyone would look great. He smiled and waved to her as he approached the tent, "Anne? Did you need me?"

Damien had been nervous for the last few days, he could not believe this was actually going to happen. In fact he had even been having cold feet and was wanting to wait a little bit. He had done this marriage thing before and it had turned out terrible, and he was not wanting to go through that again.

He was glad that Parker agreed to be his best man, because if he hadn't he would not have known what to do. Granted they were not the best of friends, but they at least could get a long and maybe Parker could keep him calm, Damien usually did not get this nervous.

He arrived with Parker at the spot Anne had giving him and he wandered around a little until he found a spot to wait. No sooner than they arrived they got a message that Anne wanted Parker, why did she have to have him right now. So now he was going to have to sit there all by himself and check out where the exit might be.

Leaving him alone gave him a lot of time to think about things, his life with Tessa, Anne and how different they were but yet the same. Everyone told them they were rushing into this marriage too fast but no one knew what had gone on between Anne and him in school. That is all that mattered.

Looking at the time he could see it was about to start, he just wished it would be over.

Deva walked with happy steps to the wedding. She was beyond relieved that she had been invited as she was, to them, only a colleague, and not their old friend. Her shoes made some clicking sound when she walked on the concrete to the ceremony. She smiled as she reached the beach and walked over to it, looking around. She saw Pyxis standing a bit off, Parker was helping a beautiful Anne and she saw a young girl that she didn't know who was.

She then looked out over the waters waiting for the ceremony to start, and probably more people to come.

Dress, hair and shoes:

Anne smiled at Pyxis and Parker. She really didn't need much. She didn't know how Damien was. Was her ok. She prayed he was.

"Hey Parker sorry to bug you, I just need you to take Lily to Damien and tell him that I love him." She said leading the six year old to him.

Anne looked at everyone. She would of had Deva as her maid of honour had she still been Haley. However since she was not she had just come. Anne was the only one who knew. Anne smiled at Pyxis she looked lovely. She looked at the time.

Parker smiled at Anne, she looked great too. Well, she should, it's her wedding after all. "Oh, Anne, it's no problem. Wait, Lily? Was she really just dropped off with no one to watch her?" Damien was freaking out already, and Parker didn't know if seeing her and having to worry about her would be a good or bad thing. He didn't have much time to mull it over though, he needed to get back there with him before he ran off or something stupid.

Parker nodded, "Sure thing, there's someone already looking after DJ and Noah. And I'll definitely not forget it tell Damien that 'I love him' " Parker joked, smiling cheekily as he took Lily's hand.

He walked out of the tent, seeing Deva there too. He gave her a small wave and he lowered down to Lily, "Is it okay if I pick you up? It'll be faster and you won't get your shoes all sandy."

Lily looked up at Parker. This is something that she really didn't want to be at. But her mommy told her that it would make her daddy happy if she was there. But she didn’t' want her daddy to be happy with Anne. But he didn't care what she wanted.

Parker had grabbed her hand. “ I guess you could pick me up. But I don't want to be here, I want to go back home with my mommy.”

Parker sighed and picked her up, trying to be careful not to mess up her dress. They made their way over the sand.

"Ah, I bet you do. It wasn't fair for your mum just to leave you like this. But this is for your dad. And wedding are a happy thing, and are a lot of fun. Lots of food and dancing." He inwardly cringed at how hypocritical he sounded to himself. "Everyone's getting ready though, and after the ceremony is when the fun starts. While you wait you can play with little DJ and Noah, alright?"

They approached the building where Damien and some others had been and Parker thought he should take her by to see her father first.

Lily didn't care, she found out that her daddy left her mommy. “ I don't care I just want to go back home.” She was pouting just a little bit. “ I don't want to play with anybody, I just want to go and have my teddy.” She looked like she was about ready to cry. Her mommy told her that she couldn't bring her teddy because of the pictures that was going to be taken. Tessa spent a lot of time making sure that Lily looked her best.

She then looked at the door. Lily didn’t care, even though she promised to behave. Tessa was bribing her with a puppy or a kneazle if she behaved and was good.

Alcyone was busy brushing her hair as she hummed softly to herself, whilst she listened to Capella rambling about how much she would miss her while she was at school. Alcyone put her brush down and opened her arms up, into which Capella eagerly sat and rested her head on her mothers shoulder. "I'll miss you too, baby girl," Alcyone kissed the top of Capella's head before finishing off with her hair and changing into her dress, with shoes to accompany said dress. Once she was done, she waited until Capella had gotten changed before she moved over to the bed where Noah sat amongst the pillows, chewing on one of them. After she'd taken care of Noah for Pyxis that day, she'd been more than willing to take care of him whenever she needed, and when Pyxis had shyly asked if she could look after him while she got ready, Alcyone was more than happy to agree.

Capella was delighted with Noah's presence, for the child had seemed to take quite a liking to babies ever since meeting DJ. She was fascinated with how small their hands were, and Alcyone moved over to her daughter as she examined the tiny fingers. "You used to be that small, you know?" Alcyone reached out and scooped Noah up into her arms. Capella protested that she wanted to carry him, but Alcyone frowned. "No, no, a baby is very fragile don't you know?" Alcyone walked down through the house and to the car with Ella in tow. Apparating with a baby wasn't the best idea, so Alcyone drove them to the venue.

Once there, she got out of the car and walked across the sand to where Pyxis was standing. "Here, he's all fine." She said, handing the baby to a smiling Pyxis who thanked her and let he go on her way after Capella had said goodbye to Noah. Alcyone hastily made her way over to Deva, a smile on her face. "Hey there." She greeted Deva quietly, feeling Capella hiding behind her as her shyness kicked in.

Parker frowned. She seemed in a pouty mood, and he knew that wasn't a good thing. Especially since the wedding ceremony's were so long and boring. Fussy kids were always a given though on these occasions. He pat her head to try to calm her down, not really knowing what else to do. "Hey, look, after we talk to your dad, I'll transfigure you a teddy. How does that sound? I know it's not the same, but you'll have it to hold." He thought for a moment. "And I think an older girl is going to be here too, so you could talk to her."

As they were by the door, he looked at her and spoke quietly before he had knocked on the door. "Hey, this is a secret, but I'm not too happy to be here either. But you gotta get through then you can get some nice treats like cake and good food. Understand?"

Lily then noticed that Parker patted her head. She really could tell he had no idea how to calm her down. She then looked up and he said that he would transfigure her a teddy bear. Lily then started to calm down. “ Alright then.” It wasn't her teddy but she would have to deal with it. She had never been around girls who was older than her.

“ Then why don't we leave since we don't want to be here?”

Damien had began pacing around debating on whether to stay or run. Why was he so nervous, he loved Anne, but Tessa was driving him crazy. Every time he turned around there was snide remark or comment made. He was trying to be the adult in all of this.

He could see that Lily was just as manipulative as her mother and that made things worse on Anne and him, maybe it would be better if he wouldn't marry Anne, it would be so much less stress on Anne. He loves Anne with all his heart, but it is not fair to her to have to deal with hatred coming from not only Tessa, but from a six year old too.

Damien just punched the table..'where the hell is Parker' he thought

Parker shrugged at Lily. "Well, because we have to be here for our friends and be supportive. And your dad is my friend, so is Anne." He shifted her a bit to hold her with one hand. "Now be nice, you're dad is a bit nervous. I'm sure he'll be very happy to see you." He said to her, hearing a noise inside the room.

Parker sighed, Damien was a total nervous wreck. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Lily to see him right now. He wasn't sure, maybe he should peek in first. He set lily down, holding her hand still and went to open the tent.

Capella stood close behind her mother as they approached someone she obviously knew from working at Hogwarts. Capella didn't want her mother to go to Hogwarts, for then she would miss her dearly - and it was most un-fair. Capella was incredibly excited to go to Hogwarts, and now her mother would get to know and she? She would not. A pout made itself apparent on her face as she stared at her feet, fiddling with a loose piece of fabric on her pink dress. Capella loved pink, and she always loved the dresses her mum picked out for her. It swirled down to her knees and made her feel pretty and special.

Capella looked around and saw a young girl. She was very cute, her hair all curled as she wore the most adorable dress, and she was being carried by some man. Curious, Capella tilted her head but remained silent - not wanting to interrupt her mother. She looked down at her feet once more and sighed. Capella didn't like weddings, they were long, boring and dull.

Ever so dull.

Capella was finally tired of standing behind her mother, and so she mumbled that she was going to go explore and she moved across the sand carefully, trying not to get too much in her pink sandals. She didn't like having sand in her shoes, it was un-comfortable. With an annoyed look at the ground, she pulled off her sandals and held them in her hand as she summoned her courage and walked over to the man and the little girl. She wasn't being carried anymore, and Capella shyly smiled as she approached them.

"H-hello."

She mumbled, her eyes fixated on her feet.

Lily saw this girl, she looked like she was a little bit older than she was. But she knew that he daddy wasn't in the mood to put up with her right now. But Parker was carrying her, she then looked at him and he put her down. She then slowly started to walk over towards her. Lily had never been around older girls before.

She then walked over there, she was a little bit shy. “ Hello?”

Parker let go of Lily's hand when another girl came over. Thank goodness, maybe they could go play together or something. He turned around and lowered his hand from the tent, watching as Lily walked over. He smiled a little bit to the other girl. "Hey, think you guys can go off and play for a bit?" He hoped they could get along, he needed to check on Damien. He didn't exactly trust himself as a babysitter anyways.

"Er, be nice-" he said to them quickly, before moving aside the flap of the tent, looking in. "Damien? You alright?"

Capella knew that she shouldn't be so shy and quiet around this girl, it might give her the impression that Capella didn't want a friend. Capella would love to make a new friend, and she smiled a little wider as the girl said hello in response. She fiddled with the fabric of her dress again as the wind swept her hair out of her face and she looked up at her.

"Whats your name?"

She asked politely.

The man asked if they thought they could go off and play, and he reminded them to be nice before he vanished inside the tent and Capella waved at the girl.

Lily smiled a little bit. “ Lily what is your name?” She knew that everyone was too busy for her and her mommy wasn't going to be here. And she really didn't know anybody here. And there was nobody her age.

“ Do you want to play? I mean there is a ton of sand, I am sure that we won't get in trouble. Seeing how this is my daddy that is getting married even if it isn't to my mommy. I was told I had to behave and I get a puppy or a kneazle.”

Damien looked at Parker when he had come in. "No, do I look alright?" Damien screamed and then looked at Parker with a look that said sorry man. Damien knew it wasn't the first time he had yelled at Parker but he really shouldn't

"Sorry man, I am just so stressed at the moment. I am not sure I should go through this. I mean is it fair to Anne to drag her into a relationship where my ex-wife completely hates her and a daughter that is just the same."

Damien threw himself into a couch he had just conjured. "I mean am I doing the right thing?" Damien sighed..

Parker sighed, stepping in and closing the tent again. He pulled out his wand setting a silencing charm, hoping the girls didn't hear Damien yell.

Parker crossed his arms. "I'm not going to talk you out of your wedding. You know how I feel about it." He looked at Damien as he slumped on the couch. "I know there's a lot going on, I can hardly eve keep up with everything. But, all I know is that you'd be hurting Anne more if you got cold feet."

"I'm sure that....Tessa will come to terms with everything. And Lily doesn't know any better..." Parker sighed. He really had no clue what to say. It was going too fast for him, some of it was unfair for Anne, some unfair for Damien, and he didn't want to go badmouthing Tessa and giving his opinions on her. Damien didn't need that right now. Parker was just at a loss. "Just -just give it time. I'm sure things will get better. But, erm, today is your day...with Anne. Try not to let other people ruin it for you, okay?"
