Tyyne, was a little bit nervous as she walked to the Herbology gardens, but she was excited too! She refrained from skipping with joy, although a smile sat broadly across her face. As she approached the overgrown door way she produced her wand from a deep pocket in her wispy black dress with it's fancy lace trim. She smiled down at her dress, she just loved it! "Flagrate." she said softly, then as the end of her wand began to glow a hot red she swished it about in the air as she wrote. 'Welcome class, please walk this way.' From then she walked purposefully into the lush damp aired building so very full of life a fiery trail dancing in the air behind her as she made sure not to let her wand dip too low.

After a short while she reached the small aquarium like lake which rose a few feet above ground level and was dotted with lily-pads both large and small. Shaking it slightly she put out her wand before tapping it lightly on the side of the lake. At once the largest of the lily-pads aligned, and hiking the hem of her dress a bit she stepped to the first one. Bouncing a bit until she felt satisfied with it's buoyancy she made her way across the water to a small island. Once there she took out from another roomy pock a quill, ink-well, and parchment. She hated mathematics! Sighing she sat on an abnormally large toadstool and tried to deduce how she was going to incorporate extra credit into the grade.

Tricia hurried down to Herbology with her eyes flicking around. She saw a bunch of 1st year boys waving and winking at her, and her nose wrinkled in disgust. How disgusting, they were only looking because of her mother. She flipped the finger at them, crossed her arms and stormed down to Tyyne with an irritated look on her face. She was so sick of everyone, the first week of school had proved to be the most frustrating. She was much less tolerant than her twin, meaning she flew off the handle at every student that looked at her the wrong way. She hadn't been particularly interested in Herbology, but seeing as hardly any other students had taken it she'd signed up to take it.

Besides, the teacher looked very kind, and though Tricia didn't seem it, she loved nice people. Sure, she could be fiery, spoilt, irritable and just plain rude but if you got to know her, really know her, she had a softer, playful side. She entered the greenhouses and looked around in wander, the over-grown plants made her feel warm and fuzzy. Perhaps, she might come to like this class. She walked along and took a seat in the classroom. "Hello Lehrer Ylönen."

Tyyne bounced forward off the toadstool when she saw her first, and most likely only student walk in. "Guten tag!" she smiled broadly as she watched the girl take a seat on a lily-pad. "How are you?" she asked wanting to to request that the girl call her Tyyne rather than Lehrer Ylönen which was new to her. Her brain struggled to recall the lists of her students from both classes. She knew the girl's last name was colour but for a moment she drew a blank. "Miss Black?" she smiled warmly. She wanted very much to be friends with her students but knew that she also needed to be respected as well, this was her first time teaching and she didn't want to mess anything up.

After going over some brief safety procedures she laced her fingers together and bounced on tip-toes. She'd worked out a way to give her students 5% extra credit. In that way between their in class work and essays if they scored at least 65% their overall grade would rise to 70%, the lowest grade needed to pass. She really wanted to see every child succeed and wanted to give them every possible chance to do so. "I have a little project for you today!" she beamed. "I am going to give you a list of ten plants, I want you to guide me through the green house and point them out. For every two you get right I'm giving you 1% extra credit towards your overall grade for the year! Does that sound alright?" she asked holding out a list that had things like Devil's Snare, Mandrakes, Abyssinian Shrivelfigs, and Puffapods among others upon it.

Tricia smiled warmly at the lehrer. "Im good, thanks. Yes, Tricia Cissi Black." She confirmed as the lehrer questioned her last name. She felt her body relax as their was no vivid response to her last name and a smile crept on her face, wider and brighter than the one before. She grinned as she was offered extra credit and nodded her head eagerly. She hadn't thought she liked this subject, but she was practically bouncing with excitement. "That sounds great!"

[[OOC: Admin here, just wanted to say that you can keep this lesson open for a couple extra days so we can do the little hunt, thats fine! Smile ]]

"Perfect!" Tyyne beamed to her student before beginning to cross the pond one lily-pad at a time. Halfway to the other side she stopped causing the plant under her feet to shift. "Oh!" she said arms wheeling at her sides as she wobbled. The realization of where she knew the name Black from had hit her so suddenly. Abby-Lee Black, the singer! Tyyne liked her music and her art, but coming from such a small town the only kind of hero worship she had known was when the neighbor boy saved a toddler from drowning. She smiled trying to hide a blush, the whole town had gotten together with their favorite dishes and had a dance to celebrate his heroics, it was then and with he that she had, had her first kiss. She wanted say something but thought better of it, they were normal people anyway even if they were never treated like it. "Ready?" she asked turning to Tricia.

Tricia stood up as her lehrer began to dance over the lily-pads. It looked like a lot of fun, but Tricia didn't fancy falling into the water so she carefully made her way to where her teacher suddenly stopped, wobbled and proclaimed, 'Oh!' as her arms waved at her side. She tilted her head and reached out a hand to stop the lehrer from falling as concern filled her face. "Lehrer Ylöen, are you okay?" She asked.

Tricia nodded her head when asked if she was ready, eager to begin the hunt. She looked around and saw several familiar plants, though more of them she didn't know that she actually did know - but at least she recognised some, right? "I was born ready." Tricia grinned.

Tyyne turned and smiled at her. "Ever suddenly remember that you've left you stove on?" she asked. "Well I just had a moment like that, don't worry no sharks down there!" she said pointed down. "I'd watch out for the frogs though they can get a bit touchy about their fungi... And they hate spots!" she shrugged peering into the water as a black and red amphibian flitted out of sight. "And I'm glad to hear you've been looking forward to my class for so long!" she beamed stepping down onto dry land and smoothing out her dress. "Here is the list, you lead the way I am in your capable hands." she explained holding out a list.

Devil's Snare (Don't let it grab you),

Mandrakes (Do not uproot please),

Abyssinian Shrivelfigs,

Puffapods,

Bubotuber (No touching),

Leaping Toadstools,

Gillyweed,

Mistletoe Berries (No eating),

Fire seeds,

and

Dittany

Tricia blinked at the question and tilted her head, studying the lehrer before her. What on earth kind of question was that? She gave a small giggle at that and shook her head, but felt relief that there were no sharks down there. "No, i've never suddenly remembered i've left my stove on..." she trailed off with a grin still on her face. "But thank goodness for no sharks. I'll make a note to watch out for the frogs." She laughed, though cringed as she saw a black and red frog swim past them. She hated frogs, with their slimy backs and their weird eyes. She smileda t the teacher and skipped onto dry land after her.

Tricia took the list and read through it. She knew a bunch of these, and as such she began to move through the greenhouse looking around for it. She saw the familiar devil's snare in a shady corner and pointed to it. "Devils snare," she then walked along until she found a bunch of pots. "Mandrakes," she paused at the next one and shook her head, moving on to puffapods. She located the weird looking plants that she thought were cool. "Puffapods," she skipped along until she found the leaping toadstools, then the gillyweed, mistletoe berries and the dittany, but as for the fire seeds, buboter and abyssinian shrivelfigs she was at a loss. "Im not sure what these are." She admitted, pointing out the three plants on the list.

Tyyne carefully checked off each plant she named having gotten them right, bringing her total extra credit to 3.5%. Tyyne was very happy with this grade cushion, but her toes wiggled anxiously within her shoes, she really, really wanted Tricia to get that whole five percent! "I'll give you a hint for each." she said tapping her chin with the quill she carried. "Fire seeds can be found on yellow fruit baring bushes and have a very sharp smell about them." she said, she didn't want to give too much away, but there were three different plants that could fit to that description so it seemed fair enough. "Bubotuber grows mostly under ground, but the part you can see looks like a large slimy black ...something!" she smiled, 'Slug!' she wanted to add, 'It looks like a slug!' "And Shrivelfigs look rather like eggplants." Satisfied she looked back to her student to see if she was game for more of this mad hide and seek.

Tricia felt a genuine smile on her face as her lehrer offered a hint for each. She felt that this was incredibly nice of her lehrer to help her out, and she nodded her head - eager for the hint. Whatever it was, she'd be very grateful and try her best to figure it out. She would be over the moon if she got the whole 5% extra credit - it would mean that she might get a very good result in Herbology. Tricia looked around curiously and continued to walk along as the lehrer gave her hints. She pointed to the plant the lehrer'd described. "Is that it?" She asked.

At the next plant, she looked around curiously and remembered what bubotuber looked like! She ran along to where she'd seen it as she walked past before. "Thats bubotuber, isn't it?" She pointed out the digusting plant and shivered. At the next one, she sighed and looked around before her eyes caught it and she pointed at it with a squeal. "I got them all!" She beamed happily.
