Belleà smiled and sat down on her chair. She had only applied for the Potions job last year, and she promised her self that she'd do her best. "It's going to be fine... as long as they're not troublemakers." she thought and sighed. She flicked her wand and the door opened to let the students in.

She flicked her wand once more, and words appeared on the blackboard;

'Forgetfulness Potion
-Add 2 drops of Lethe River Water to your cauldron
-Gently heat for 20 seconds
-Add 2 Valerian Sprigs to your cauldron
-Stir 3 times, clockwise
-Wave your wand
-Leave to brew and return in 95 minutes
-Add 2 measures of Standard Ingredient to the mortar
-Add 4 Mistletoe Berries to the mortar
-Crush into a medium-fine powder using the pestle
-Add 2 pinches of the crushed mixture to your cauldron
-Stir 5 times, anti-clockwise
-Wave your wand to complete the potion'

Belleà placed her hands on her desk. "Bon matin [good morning]. I am your new Potions educator. My name is Belleà de Cendres, but I would prefer for you to call me Professor de Cendres," she said.

"Now, I know this is for First Years, but I'd like to give everyone a test, so I'll know how much you learned last year with your previous educator. There will be no excuses. It is very easy to do, even if you had no educator before. Raise your hand if you have a question. Points will be given, points will be taken. Ingredients are in the cupboard. Begin." Belleà said, nodding slightly.

She sat back down and looked at her class list.

Class List:
Avis- Basil Destry, Jacqueline Rousseau
Renard- Vereà de Cendres
Eponette- Jacaranda Alice Sand

[OOC: I checked the sign up sheet, and this is what I saw. So, guys, don't blame me if you think you're a first year or whatever. Razz]

Verea entered the classroom and looked around. Yep. She was first. She made her way to one of the seats. She looked at the teacher and groaned. No way. Her mother was her educator! Did that mean she had to call her 'professor'? And she had to say, her mother was pretty strict.

Verea nodded anyways and started taking the ingredients from the cupboard. After she got everything, she went back to her seat and started preparing.

After her ingredients were properly placed, she started. Reading the instructions on the board, she carefully added 2 drops of Lethe River Water to her cauldron. Then she heated it for 20 seconds, stopping just at the right moment. She added 2 Valerian Springs to her cauldron, stirring it 3 times, clockwise, afterwards. She then waved her wand and sat down for a while, waiting for the potion to brew for 95 minutes to make it just fine. Verea looked at the clock, noticing that she should already add 2 measures of Standard Ingredient to the mortar. So she did, carefully, and added 4 Mistletoe Berries.

She started to crush it until it turned into a medium-fine powder and then added 2 pinches of the mixture to her cauldron. She mixed it counter-clockwise, until she was supposed to stop, and waved his wand to finish. Now all she had to do was wait for her mother--Professor de Cendres--to walk to her.

Jackie moused her way into the potions classroom and glanced around. The only person there was a Renard and didn't look very happy about the educator preference. She sighed inwardly and pursed her lips, hoping Luca would show up. Luca was nice to her.

"Bon Matin," she chorused to Professor de Cendres before taking out her things and placing the cauldron onto the heat. Jackie returned from the cupboard and ordered the ingredients on her table. She jotted down the instructions in her notebook and began.

95 minutes later, she found herself crushing up Standard Ingredient and Mistletoe Berries in the stone mortar. She sprinkled two pinches of the powder into her cauldron, stirred it around and then waved her wand, anxiously hoping she'd done it all right.

Jackie sat back, waiting for the Professor to check her work.

Baz walked to Potions, a soft grin on his face as he trudged along with his hands in his pockets. He slipped in and quietly set up. He seemed to be the only boy there at the moment, but he was kinda glad to finally be back at classes.

Basil slowly worked his way through the instructions, and carefully started up, working a quickly as possible. He managed to get to the part where he waved his wand and waited 95 minutes. While he was waiting, he decided to be a fore thinker and crushed his Standard Ingredient and the Mistletoe Berries in the mortar and pestle. The 95 minutes was up, so he threw the two pinches of powder in and waved his wand, waiting for the professor to come see if he'd done it right.

Glancing around the room, Baz frowned at his potion. It looked a little different to the other's concoctions and that made him worried.

Bellea, after a few minutes, then decided to go around and check their work. She went over to Verea. "Mm..... hm.... very good, 10 points to Renard for the potion's quality, and 5 for your patience," she said quietly and smiled a little.

She walked over to Jacaranda - or Jackie - the girl from Eponette. "Hm... yes, needs a little work, but that seems good enough. 10 points to Eponette."

She then walked to Basil, of Avis. Bellea raised her eyebrows. "Tut, tut. You'll need to work on your Potions, monsieur Destry, but the effort is appreciated. 5 points to Avis," she smiled. She walked back to her desk and sat down.

Bellea looked at her watch and shrugged. "Sorry guys, but I guess it's time for us to go. Just place your potions in a vial and I'll check it out. Class dismissed." she said.

(I think I forgot to hit the sign up sheet)

Mystic walked into potions class and looked at the board at what potion they were going to be working on. She went over the the supply cupboard and began to work on the potion.

She added everything at the right time, Mystic made sure to do everything per the instructions. With a final wave of her wand she seemed to be very proud of her completed potion.
