Anne was nearing the end of her pregnancy. She was relived, she wanted to hold her baby girl not just have her in her stomach. She smiled as she sat down at her desk. She took off her necklace seeing as er neck was sore and it was bugging her a bit. She smiled and rubbed her stomach.

She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her belly. She gasped and Stood up feeling the pain again. This was too fast to be contractions. She looked at the calender and saw that date. April 11th. Shit she thought. She was having the baby today, but what was going to happen. She should not have this pain. She couldn't move.

She grabbed her wand and sent a patrounis to Tess. She knew Parker could deliver it but Tess was better at this. She groaned as she felt another pain. Damn. She couldn't send another one. She needed Damien. She groaned and yelled. "Help, someone." She really wanted her husband here for the birth of their child.

Tess was putting her last file to rest. She was ready to punch out, she'd had a busy day and she wanted nothing more than a cup of tea and a book to curl up to. That soon changed as she saw a patronus. It skipped everyone around her and went straight to her.

"Anne Greene In Labor" it said.

Tess was wide-eyed and immediately ran towards her table. She opened her bag and began to put important objects into her bag. Warm cloths, pairs of gloves, scalpel in case of anything, some anesthetics in case of anything, and some droughts to calm her and other things. She closed the box immediately and ran to the Floor Network.

She cried from "Excuse me!" to"Coming through!" to "Merlin get out of the freaking way someone's giving birth!" to "I'll hex you to next Tuesday if you don't bloody move you twerp!" until she reached the floor Network.

"Hogwarts!" she cried out.

Immediately she found herself on the seventh floor. As she saw Anne she immediately ran towards her.

"How far apart are you contractions?" she asked immediately.

Anne shook her head when Tess showed up. "It's not labour. Something's wrong." She said gasping again as she felt the pain again. She looked at her leg and noticed blood running down it. She was slightly relived that she had warn a skirt but it was very short lived. She grabbed her stomach and worried about her child. She closed her eyes and saw her, but would she be there. She had no clue. She could die in this.

"Tess, I need Damien and Parker would be helpful too." She said looking at her. By the time Tess had gotten there she had sat on the floor. She couldn't move. She had had worst pain but it wasn't just he own life on the line.

Tess felt herself turn paler and got up. She transfigured the desk into a bed and floated her on. She would prefer to take her to st. Mungos but the trip might splice her or worse...she couldn't do that.

"Okay...okay" she said taking a deep breath.

She immediately created two patronus of her fox: one said "Damien Greene, Anne Greene in Danger, follow Patronus" the other "Healer Parker Anne Greene in Danger" and she immediately send them out.

Turning back to Anne she noticed that there was blood running down her leg and she immediately took out her stethoscope and began to take her blood pressure; it was incredibly high.

"Anne, you are a little....early, but no worries, everything will be fine okay?" she said with a nervous smile. "You need to calm down, your stress is making your blood pressure skyrocket"

Anne watched her send the patrounus and tried to relax. She was going to be fine. She told herself over and over again. She was going to be fine. She took a ffew deep breaths and though of the pain as nothing more than Kate learning. It wasn't that bad. She could handle it.

"Ok." She said relaxing. She just had to stay calm. It would be fine as long as she stayed calm. She tried not to let the pain show on her face but thought again and realized it would be better to let it show. She sighed and slowed her breathing to a proper rate. She looked at Tess and nodded. She was glad Professor Slytherin had taught her mediation.

Tess' hands shook and she searched for the drought she packed. Finding it she lifted Anne's head and put the vial against her lips.

"It's a calming drought, it will numb some pain, not completely, but enough and will help you go through with this."

Allowing her to drink, she pulled it back and put it to the side. She checked the amount of centimeters dilating and she realized it was early.

"You are two centimeters along, I know this will be long, but fight through it okay? We need to reach ten centimeters"

Anne nodded to what she said the pain wasn't that bad, she could handle it. She remembered the doctors when she had DJ wondering why she didn't scream. The pain she could manage it was worry that got her. She tried to stay calm as she waited for the magic number.

She closed her eyes and rested her head for a moment. She wanted everything to be ok. She sighed as she felt another roll of pain and though of how different she was. She didn't scream while Tessa had done nothing but scream. She smiled lightly and was glad that the pain that had scared her in the start was not as bad. She hoped it was gone not just masked.

Tess felt her hands shaking but it didn't matter this needed to happen and fast. She was glad she was far enough where she could properly and not have to fear that the child would in any way be premature. She seemed to have an average sized baby, at least based on the time she'd been through the pregnancy.

"They'll be here soon" she murmured trying to comfort her.

Anne sighed and listened to Tess. The pain didn't bother her a bit. Really is wasn't that bad. She trusted the woman before her. She just wished her husban would hurry up and get here.

Anne just sat there staring at the door willing it with her eyes to open and Damien to come in. She sighed again looking back at the young healer. "Of all times to be late he picks now." She muttered to her shaking her head.
