Halcyon was born into a time of war, but his parents longed for the end of it. When they got him, they decided to name him 'Halcyon', even though it is not really a name, and had it been 'Halcyone', it would've been a girl's name. But they longed for the halcyon days where peace was the main thing around them. He grew up reading about his family, and was pretty surprised that Albus Dumbledore, his great grandfather's brother, had been so obsessed with powers for a while.

Halcyon is a bit of a ladies man, very flirtatious and gallant like. He knows how to joke at the expense of his own face, and he knows that that is the kind of jokes most girls like.
