Capper's parents dies when he was young so he was placed into an orphanage, he did not have a lot of friends while he was there. He befriended a girl by the name of Tessa but when school started she went off to a private school and so did he. Neither knew that they were wizards or that they went to the same school. He was a Ravenclaw and never was in any of her classes. He would have learned his final year during the graduation ceremony but he got sick and was in the hospital wing. But they got to see each other over the summer until they were 14 when she discovered that her real father was alive and she left him and he was all alone again.
