Alcyone sighed heavily. Because no students had taken her class the previous year, she would have to repeat her lessons that were planned for last year for them this year. Meaning she'd have to do an introduction lesson. Alcyone rolled her eyes and began to move around, gathering her notes and setting them up on her desk. She stood up and picked up the chalk, scribbling 'An Introduction to History of Magic' on the board, and her name 'Professor Ravensdale' beneath it. She hoped at least one student was interested in taking the class this year. If not, she'd be disappointed but no matter, really. She'd have to see Nora about it though.

Alcyone sat down in her chair and looked at the door expectantly, wondering if a student would actually walk through so she could begin the lesson.

Humphrey was excited for History of Magic, he absolutely loved history. Since he was muggleborn, everything was going to be new to him. Walking into the class and picking a seat at the front, he looked around. To his surprise, nobody else was there. "Morning Professor Ravensdale, how are you?" he asked.

Jamie hadn't taken History of Magic last year because she had too many lessons, but she'd dropped a few and was now able to do it. She combed her hair back with her fingers, and wrapped a band around it to hold it in a low ponytail. Her hair looked a little messy, but over all decent enough. She didn't care anyway, she heard hardly any other students were taking this class.

As she walked into the classroom, a huge smile crossed her face when she was Humphrey. "Humphrey! Hey!" She waved enthusiastically and skidded over to a seat. She plopped down next to him and beamed at him, before looking at Professor Ravensdale with respect.

It was hard not to laugh with the way Jamie greeted him. Humphrey was kind of surprised, he didn't think Jamie liked talking to him that much. Her hair was in a ponytail today, and he liked it. "Hey Jamie, nice ponytail. They are cool, all bouncy and stuff." Humphrey told her.
